Una volta …tanti anni fa, sentii mio padre dire cose che non compresi subito, ma rimasero nella mia mente fino ad oggi.

Disse:

“NON E’ IMPORTANTE CIO’ CHE TI POSSONO PORTARE VIA, MA CIO’ CHE HAI IN TESTA PERCHE’ QUELLO RIMANE E RIMARRA’ SEMPRE E SOLO TUO!

            LA CONOSCENZA: PUOI USARLA COME, DOVE E QUANDO VUOI … E’ TUA … NON POSSONO RUBARLA, TASSARLA, IMPEDIRTI DI PORTARLA CON TE … PER IL MONDO, OVUNQUE…”

Ora … immaginate di dover lasciare tutto e …subito! Adesso… Immediatamente!!

Cosa portate con Voi, senza problemi se non le vostre conoscenze?

E’ strano come la cosa più ovvia per chi ha la conoscenza, possa stupire le persone che non sanno … ogni cosa che non si conosce è un “UOVO DI COLOMBO” finchè …non ti spiegano il COME ed il PERCHE’.

La premessa indica chiaramente le grandi potenzialità che ognuno di noi può esprimere, soprattutto dopo anni di lavoro proprio e di esperienze personali.

Il concetto è indirizzato ai miei amici tornitori che stanno attraversando un periodo di incertezza e insicurezza … dimenticati dalle richieste di lavoro e abbandonati dall’amore per il proprio lavoro.

Non dimentichiamo il fatto che ciò che conosciamo resta; che ciò che sappiamo fare non ce lo porta via nessuno e anzi è un KNOW HOW da valorizzare e da proporre … chissà… potrebbero chiamarci da paesi lontani per avviare nuove aree produttive o chissà, nuovi lavori a loro sconosciuti ma che noi già conosciamo …!!

 

Proponiamo il nostro sapere … offriamo il nostro Know How…!!

THE TURNER’S KNOW HOW

Once… many years ago, I heard my father say something that I didn’t understand right away, but which stayed in my mind until today.

He said: “WHATEVER CAN BE TAKEN AWAY IS NOT IMPORTANT, BUT WHATEVER YOU HAVE IN YOUR HEAD IS, BECAUSE IT REMAINS AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN AND IS ONLY YOURS!

KNOWLEDGE: YOU CAN USE IT HOW, WHERE AND WHEN YOU WANT… IT’S YOURS… IT CANNOT BE STOLEN OR TAXED, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU TAKING IT WITH YOU… AROUND THE WORLD, WHEREVER…”

Now, imagine you have to leave everything, immediately, now, right away!

What can you take with you, without problems, if not your knowledge?

It’s strange that the most obvious thing for those who have the knowledge may amaze people who do not know. Each thing that we don’t know is an “EGG OF COLUMBUS” until we are explained HOW and WHY.

This premise indicates clearly the great potential that each of us has, particularly after years of work and personal experiences.

This concept is directed at my wood turner friends who are experiencing a period of uncertainty and insecurity, forgotten by job offers and abandoned by the love for their work.

Let’s not forget the fact that whatever we know remains, whatever we know how to do no one can take away, and this is KNOW-HOW to be cherished and offered… who knows… we could be called from far-off countries to start a new production area or, who knows, new jobs as yet unknown to them, but already known to us!

We offer our knowledge… we offer our know-how…!!
