L’idea della cooperazione e del “gruppo di lavoro” è sempre stato un chiodo fisso per la dirigenza Genini. Dopo la prima grande crisi settoriale del 1982 si cominciò a ricercare opportunità alternative; una di queste fu il legame commerciale iniziato con la ditta RYE – UK  nel 1983.

Da questa esperienza nacquero nuove opportunità e nuove cooperazioni …

Negli anni successivi si lavorò a grandi progetti con la ex Jugoslavia, … dal nord a Logatec, al sud a Sarajevo e nel 1986 “UNIS”…

I DIRIGENTI GENINI IN VISITA ALLA RYE (UK) – 4 Giugno 1983 -dalla rivista Timber Trades Journal

Due dirigenti della Genini, i costruttori italiani di torni, sono stati recentemente ricevuti nella fabbrica della Rye a Wycombe per presentare le macchine che il marchio GENINI ha attualmente sul mercato.

Il Sig. Genini Mario ed il Direttore commerciale Sig. G. P. Margheriti si incontrarono con i direttori Sigg. Jack Evans e Bill Haynes, il direttore tecnico Sig. Michael Evans ed il direttore commerciale Sig. Mike Ingrey.

Durante la giornata, i due dirigenti italiani hanno descritto tutti i sistemi di lavorazione per ogni singola macchina, tra la vasta gamma di equipaggiamenti per la tornitura e la levigatura disponibili a beneficio dello staff tecnico e commerciale della Rye.

E’ stata data importanza da parte del Sig. Genini del ruolo integrato dalla sua compagnia, con macchine sviluppate per dare una risposta ad ogni specifico problema del cliente, con riguardo a budget e produttività. Ha anche elencato tutte le applicazioni con cui tutte le macchine della Genini stanno lavorando nel mondo.

Preview of globalisation

The idea of cooperation and of a “work group” has always been something of an obsession for Genini management. After the first significant crisis in the sector in 1982, alternative opportunities were researched: one of these was the business link with the company RYE – UK in 1983.

New opportunities and new cooperation arose from this experience…

In subsequent years, we worked on large projects with the former Yugoslavia,… from the north in Logatec to the south in Sarajevo, and in 1986 with “UNIS” of Sarajevo.

“Two directors of Genini, Italian manufacturers of lathes, were recently received at Rye’s factory in Wycombe to present GENINI brand machines currently on the market. Mr. Mario Genini and the Sales Director Mr. G.P. Margheriti met with directors Jack Evans and Bill Haynes, the technical director Mr. Michael Evans and the Sales Director Mr. Mike Ingrey. During the day, the two Italian directors described all the processing systems of each machine, including the vast range of equipment for turning and sanding available for the benefit of the technical and commercial staff of Rye.          Mr. Genini focussed on the integrated role of his company, with machines developed to respond to all customer problems and attention paid to budget and productivity. He also listed all the applications that Genini machines are being used for around the world.”
